Evaluating a student's portfolio is easy when you have a pre-established rubric to work from. Here is a check off for teachers based on each quarter:
Quarter 1
Students need to find a Teacher Advisor
Quarter 2
Make sure that your student advisees corresponds with you at least once during Quarter 2 (in person, in a group with all advisees, or through email). No work requirement is needed, but go over with them what you would like to see as well as get some feedback from them on how they want their portfolios to look like.

should have a supporting graphic of an actual egg breaking. A picture of the Warrior's logo probably does not belong with the essay about "coming out of your shell" as there is no relevance between the essay and the graphic.
□ All last names of the student as well as "School of the Epiphany" must be taken out of scanned documents as well as throughout the portfolio.

□ Each quarterly meeting with your student advisee should be treated as time of reflection and constant improvement. For quarter 2, you want to establish a baseline for your students. Evaluate with each advisee how much work/effort needs to be put into their portfolio project to meet their goals for themselves.
